Splinterlands art contest!!
Hello everyone!! In this post I will show you my drawing for the splinterlands art contest step by step!! I drew the legendary fire monster, Grum Flameblade.
So, this is the finished drawing. And now I will show you the steps, so keep reading!
Fort his drawing I started drawing his head, face, his hands, a part of his body, and his blade.
After that I drew the other part of his body, his feet, the skeletons in his knee, the belt, the big skeletal head he is sitting on, and the muscles.
When I finished drawing him, I drew the details, like the scars, and some other lines.
Then, in the top right corner of the page, I drew the splinterlands logo.
After I finished drawing, I started coloring. I first colored his head with green, the hair in his chin and the sides of his head with brown, the collar with brown and some black in the spines, the upper part of his body with green, and some scars with a very light brown.
Then, I continued coloring his body with green, some other scars with the light brown, his hands along with his gloves with green, yellow, grey in the spines, and some red in his fingers, and his blade with a ligth grey in the upper part and with a blacker grey in the down part.
After, I colored his belt with brown, his feet, or armor, with grey, the skeleton heads with a very light brown, and the big skeleton head he is sitting on with a light brown and some grey for the shadow.
Then, I colored the splinterlands logo. I colored the outside and the letters with yellow, the inside with blue, inside the teeth with red, and the outside of the teeth with black.
After I finished coloring the splinterlands logo I decided to draw something on the background just to not leave it in white. I drew the fire logo from splinterlands since Grum is a fire monster. After I drew it I colored it. I used red for the upper part of the flame, orange for the middle part, and yellow for the down part.
And then, to finish the background, I colored the rest of the page that is in white with black.
