There is not a lot you can do with Lufthansa miles. But I just realized that you can buy time to go online. 3500 points do just fine for a flight from Madrid to Munich. It just might turn out more profitable than some rubbish they'll give you for even 5000 points. And it works very well as you can see (just flying over Zurich).
