So I will start with what comes first to mind and probably not that either. Lucksacks finally has a witness, well I say them but mean boss lady @bethalea , read it here So if you actually want to win hive without owning thousands in assets then voting her directly correlates to me beating you in poker. At least second place also pays out.
I was at HiveFest, it went like this: Friday - social butterfly, Saturday - wasp.
There were a few things that I did enjoy, specifically day 2 and although my attempt at starting a Mexican wave was possibly rightfully frowned upon the HAS service from @arcange is pretty exciting.
All the regulars were there and I think the utility from HivePunks is a good example of simplicity with a nifty outcome.
The Hive ecosystem for the most part does seem rather fragmented with many seemingly doing their part in isolation. Some of the projects can do with a lot more input even just from the userbase and well I guess I am just stating what they and everyone already know. Captain obvious
I really like the workings and philosophy behind @dlux and
@ecency does great work also, I liked that it seems
@ecency will be a competitor to outposts and
@dlux is a competitor to hive-engine and their utility contracts.
That is all healthy, as hive goes though. I think some projects might call it quits and maybe that is why so few were on display.
I am just as guilty as many but user interaction with these projects beyond what it can give me might be something that is sorely lacking. Beta testers, etc etc.
Anyway, at least there is growth. As more momentum is gained even the project growth will become more decentralized and that can only be good.
Maybe a Hive ecosystem challenge could do well, a kinda micro task tour of everything, for example you all should probably check if you were at HiveFest, I am thinking you got a NFT airdrop on Dlux
