There are some cards in Splinterlands that definitely are only filler, and others that get saved by a single trait.
The Pelacor Deceiver I think falls in the category of filler till flying. Fortunately, it is only 5 Mana which for most games is just fine.
It only becomes really worth using when you hit level 3, and more often than not I would only use it if I am using my Dragon Chicky that gives +1 Melee.
With the new chaos cards being a lot more powerful by default than any of the old cards it stings to have a shit show 2 Melee on something even if 8 Health is not half bad.
The problem with many games these days is that it is mainly a magic show, not that I watch any but I see the lineups when the match is done briefly. Can't really be arsed, it is not like it matters what they are going to play. Ok, yeah it help counter but for the most part meh.
Which is why it is kinda nice with the new system, I would want to actually try and think of what my opponent will be doing. For now, just slap some shit in escape the game screen and get on with the next one.
Braindead is how I would describe my play. I only have CP for Gold 2 anyway so that is not an issue, as though I would fall below that.
Anyway, Pelacor Deveiver is not as useless as the title suggests and I think ... ok correction. The Deceiver at Level 3 is not as useless as the title suggests.
It does have that flying which combined with the speed can really irritate some of the heavy hitters. Obviously it is no thorns bitch, and I do hate that card just on principle, but Pelacor has come in clutch a few times.
So if you want one, I guess comment below, maybe add why you hate that thorns asshole which everyone spams in death. I will cap the cards at 30 Level 1's. So if there aren't 30 comments then well we can just split them. about 2 days from this post.
Try not to invite friends obviously.
