Charleroi away, always dangerous

Tonight, the record champion of Belgium, Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht plays away at Royal Sporting Club Charleroi. Until there nothing special. But, this game has so much tension on it, it is almost like a final for the players of Anderlecht.
They have the worst start since 1922, with only 6 points out of 9 league games, and just one win. This week, all the historical opponents of Anderlecht played European football, while they were sitting in front of the television. That must hurt, but it is the reality.

Yesterday, Anderlecht's management appointed a new head coach, actually not new, because there wasn't really a head coach until now. Frank Vercauteren will lead the coaching at Anderlecht starting from now. Vincent Kompany will focus on the team management and being a player, but he is not the coach anymore. Has he ever been? The official coach was Simon Davies, but we all now Kompany was in charge. Now, he has finally had the vision that it was all too much to handle.

Starting on Monday, Frank Vercauteren will coach the team and put in the tactics. All of course with the blessing of Vincent Kompany. So Kompany is still in charge, but he has put the responsability away from him. Smart and modest too. Hopefully for him and for Anderlecht it has effect. Maybe, starting with tonight!
