100 million Euro
That is a price tag I wouldn't want on my head. But it's the fate of Eden Hazard. Since his move from Chelsea to Real Madrid, and the transfer sum of 100 million that was paid, the expectations from him are very high. And understandable, because it is a shitload of money. And not to mention his contract, that will probably be around 10 million Euro per year, without bonuses. But things haven't really gone smoothly the first months...

Injured and out of shape
Eden Hazard is a magnificent player, with very quick feat and incredible technical skills. But he has to be in shape. And right now, Eden is far away from being in shape. He sustained an injury after a few weeks of training with Real Madrid, and every summer he gains a few kilos. Which is kind of unacceptable as a professional football player. But Eden Hazard has always come back from the summer vacation with a little extra weight. Quite complacent and not very professional, but that's just Eden. In a few weeks, his form will be back, and when money time comes, he will be ready, as he has been every year.
His team is not helping him too
And there is another problem for him. Hazard needs to have the ball, and preferably on the half of the opponent. But that is not really happening right now. Since the injury of Ramos, the defense of Real Madrid has been very unstable, and Zinedine Zidane had to make some adjustments to the team. He made them play a lot lower on the pitch, which more defense in mind. Understandable from the point of view from Zidane, but you can't expect from Eden Hazard to make the action from 70 meters away from the opponent's goal. That's just not possible, not for Hazard, not for Messi either.
Time will heal Hazard and Madrid, as long as the supporters keep their patience, but once the goals are coming there is no stopping Eden!
Sincerely,
