What in heaven’s name did our witnesses do with that so called soft fork? And what is that?
Well, it is a change in the code that put the ninja mined stake of Steemit.inc out of the witness voting. A very blunt move that came as a surprise for most of us, and probably for Justin Sun too! Is it like a hard fork? Yes, but the difference is that this can easily be turned back, unlike with a hard fork.
We vote for ghe witnesses to secure this blockchain, so they have our approval to do ghis. But it is in fact a blackmail to force Justin Sun to talk with ghem anc listen to thdm and us! He luckily takes it sportively and asked for a talk with the top 50 witnesses. So, it worked like it was intended to. But it could as well caused a war.
In my opinion, this is a good starting point for the real growth of the Steem blockchain. All witnesses together with the biggest stakeholder talking about yhe future. That should have been the case two years ago, but that is ancient history. So, it is make or break now! Come on now people, together for a great future!
