So, right now Hive is worth 0.3485 USD, it even spiked to 41 cents this afternoon. That is quite the rise, but no so unexpected for me. I believe this is only the beginning. And for many reasons. First of all, the amount of Hive on the exchanges has been stabilising the last few weeks. We can even expect to see a drop soon. That means that the demand curve is switching, which is driving the current price jump.
But that's not all! We can expect a lot more activity on the platform as from now. A lot more posts, more new accounts, more curating, etc... This price jump will drive the demand for new Hive, and will move the platform forward. This is exactly what Hive needed. You can see it as a vicious circle, but a good one. Price drives activity, activity pushes demand and demand pushes price... And so on and on.
I believe the near future for Hive and all of its dApps and communities could be very bright.
