Just about 33 km wide is the sea passage between France and England at the narrowest point. The fun part is that on a sunny day with you can see the other side. And both parts are quite equal, chalk cliffs. This is the French side, close to Wissant and Cap Blanc Nez.
It is an amazing area to go for a walk, very wide views, just be careful, it can be very windy over there.
