Appics, the Instagram of crypto, or is it Istacrap?

At least, that is how it is and was marketed. But now a few years after the launch. I get the feeling it is stuck. The user growth is stalling, the price of Appics is falling, and the hanging move to Telos is not really a sign of stability.

And then it just ... stopped working. Yesterday, I noticed it for the first time, all I got was a black screen, and the Appics logo that just twirled around in the middle of the screen. Nothing wrong with that, every software program or social medium that is connected to the interweb or a blockchain has had outages. But, the bigger problem is that now 24 hours later, there still is no solution. You still get the black screen. That really is bad news. You put off your youngest users with these things, and eventually you will lose them. New users aren't going to join either. And what is certain about this not happening again? Nothing.

That is and has been the problem of so many crypto projects that I have encountered. Stability! You must be sure the blockchain keeps working, that is just the start of it all. You can have all the marketing in the world, and the best ambassadors, but if it isn't stable and running. Who in heaven's name will join it?

I really hope they can solve it, but it makes me think about my stash of APX. Should I hold them? Or should I abandon ship before it's too late? I don't know yet, but I will think about it, for sure.
