Blockchain Workshop in Dubai

Thank you Blockchain Workshop and Darina Mar for arranging another excellent event. Thank you, everybody, who participated. We had a very good interactive evening at Conrad Dubai.

We found the consensus (!) on 3 major items

1. Blockchain and Cryptos will have the major impact on the entire society

• As big as e.g. Industrial revolution, electricity, internet or even bigger

1. Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies will go mainstream

• Businesses and public sector are developing Blockchain solutions including Cryptos - on e.g. IT, telecom, Financial, supply chain, education, SoMe

• Companies have accepted the fact that successful Blockchain solution will be a combination of Blockchain with Cryptos. Both public and private sectors have accepted this

1. The route towards "the decentralised society" will proceed in phases

• Collaboration with the existing centralized organisations and systems will be needed. We should not try to destroy e.g. banks, education institutions, governments. Their role will be definitely different in the "decentralised society" but they'll have a role. Decentralised society will have room for everybody and all organisations.

• Do we get fully 100% decentralised society? Possibly not which can be a good thing!
