Hello everyone and happy Monday. Ok ... maybe this is not my favorite day of the week, but a positive approach sure is a good way to start the week 😊. To keep up with my rather new tradition of drawing a bird every week (which is also a way to keep in touch with a ex co-worker), I decided to go with “The Crow”. Maybe it is the fact that I saw a rather big one this weekend (I actually think it was a raven, but it just passed and it all went pretty fast, so it is hard to tell)., but mostly because I knew it would be a challenge to turn a rather blackish blob into a bird (the lack of colors makes the division hard, so I used slight variations).
Some thing for sure, it reminds me of a scene that was just incredible / something to remember : We saw to crows kill and eat a pigeon! And they it fast too (2-3 bites and that the whole pigeon was rather gone) 😲, they probably were in a rush as there was a falcon near by (and they stole its lunch). As soon as they were done eating it, they went under a tree for cover (they are quite intelligent). Good thing I was able to film most of it too with my phone, I have shown that video to so many as it is rather hard to believe. Only then, when I saw what they could do to their fellow bird, I realised how fearsome they could be).
