Luv your positivism 😃. Maybe this could help : my first Lp experience, I too have undid it and was wondering where are my intial token invested? Well, turns out the initial coins were converted into LP 'tokens' (or power) As long as the Lp was going, I got tokens, when I undid the lp to get the initial tokens back, I realized it was exchange for LP, so got LP back instead. I swaped those LP 'tokens' into the tokens I wanted. My initial tokens did rise in the meanwhile, but the lp traded back was worth more than what I initially put it. So the initial tokens were lost, but not their weight.
