Hello everyone, it is Thursday and we all know what this means : tomorrow is Friday, yay!! Another day, another drawing, this is what I have beem doing lately as I want to improve myself at drawing, and it works...ok, maybe not all the time, but I see progress in many spheres and I am quite happy with it. To try different angles and different tools, I used a 3d model to make a pose like if you were looking up at a giant. Could be the view that squirrels have of us, so hey, why not.
When I use reference and I never proud of my drawings, but I do find that it does help : it seems that every time I notice a little macro detail, my sense of observation is getting better and better and it is easier to convert everything into shapes. I do have to say that it does feel like cheatings, but like many artists suggest : practice with all the tools that you can, do not see it as cheating as eventually you will be able to draw whatever. I will try to see it from that angle instead.
This was done in the software Clip Studio Paint. There should be a new version coming out this month (I am getting the upgrade free, it was included with the licence that I bought (which was worth every penny).
Here are some progress pics :

I hope you guys like it. Thanks for the view
