Inspired by Candles

Hello everyone, I did this digital drawing today inspired by candles. Sounds strange as I do not really car about candles, but after reading an intro to one of @dandays post, it was hard to get it out of my mine. I will not sell the punchline, I encourage everyone to go read it instead, It really got me cracked out as I was wondering where it was going : I raise my hand.

He made good points, and I have to agree. Therefore I had the candle image stuck in my mind. I did a quick draft initially, a simple girl watching the light coming out of it. From there, I was happy with the result of the candle, so I decided to use it for another drawing. As I wanted to make a small portrait, but more in the anime / manga style, without truly following the guidelines for it to be considered one. I guess I just did a portrait of a girl with oversized eyes 😃, I still like it. I would prefer to have some of the skills that others have to make thing realistic every single time, but it is something that will come with time (practice makes perfect). I did a few drawing during the week, but they all turn out to be mostly practice sketches are too shameful to post. I do have limits on posting my mistakes (as I usually do not mind).

Time to go back to work (even if I am not working today, I am trying out a few things that require “working”, just not paid 😊, when you love what you do, it is always easier.
