Hello everyone and happy Thursday... you know what that means : it means that tomorrow is Friday!! I do not know for you guys, but for me, starting tomorrow, I will only have a week left to work before my vacation start. I will never refuse a chance to rest and it always seems that the last stretch is the longest. A few days awy, yet it seems so far. Hopefully the week will go fast so I can just clear my head for 2 weeks. Do not give me wrong I love working, but I also love it when I am not :-).
Still in the pursue of exploring digital arts, I wanted to try a different way to color in the Clip Studio Paint software. Just like all the different styles out there, there is also different ways to fill in those colors. I like to try different stuff so I can combine them in my on reciepe. Just like mixing different mediums, you are never sure of what you are going to ger initially. I think I went more like if I was painting in real life on a canvas. Sometimes I put the base colors that I want directly on the painting to start blending it.
For the sketch, I just did a radom face and played with the shape until I had decent forms. The trick that I wanted to try the most at that level was the symetric ruler. Using it, it was easy to make 2 eyes with the same proportions. Pretty cool, I did have to go back over the lines of course, but it does simplify things if you can apply it. Another day, another utility discovered is put in application :-)
