Hello everyone and happy Thursday. I really want to yell out TGIT, I just can wait for the weekend. After drawing a bird a couple of days ago, I wanted to draw more animals in the same technique. I tried a little portrait in between but as soon as yesterday's post was done, I was really eager to draw a furry friend for today.

So I tried to take an animal that did not have too much details. The only thing (well the first thing anyway) that came to my mind was a chimpanzee. Probably because I admire the drawings of them a lot (go see maxwellmarcusart@maxwellmarcusart he truly makes the best chimps). I did not think about how dark they were, it gave an extra challenge for coloring. I had to make sure it just did not look like a blackish blob, so a few colors mixte up together was able to give a good result.

This was done in the software Clip Studio Paint Pro, a little program that I got a little more than a month ago, and I really like it (and I believe that I am starting to be pretty good with it too). Drawing on a daily base really does make a difference.
