What I didn't like is that it lacked that suspense and terror that makes you jump out of your chair and want to turn on the lights while watching it.
^Got me curious: did the original Hellraiser make you jump out of your chair and did you watch it with lights on? I personally never saw it as that type of horror. For me it was that creepy feeling that it kinda wants to get under your skin by taking away any hope to see people getting out of their predicament once they come face to face with Cenobites rather than shock you outright. I thought it was out there to taunt human nature in its own twisted way.
