Ming Dynasty [明朝] (read: Ming Chao) is a dynasty founded by Zhu Yuan Zhang [朱元璋] after overthrowing the government of the Yuan Dynasty established by Mongols. Ming Dynasty that ruled China for 277 years (Year 1368-1644) has 16 Emperor who finally brought down by the tribe Manchuria by forming a new dynasty, namely the Qing Dynasty. (quoted from a source)
