Greetings, everyone!
Well, to respond to the #IndiaUnited weekly contest. I would say that this year I didn't have a goal to set but I allowed the leading of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide every step of my life, to the things I want to do and where I should go.
One of the richest goals I have achieved and I will continue to achieve is to know God, more and more. The more you know Him, the more you know yourself, and every step you should take or go. And I have seen God come true for me. One of the benefits of asking God what to do was that he told me to take up a course in project management, and I enrolled in that for some months. To the glory of the Lord, I will be writing an examination next week, and I pray that He will see me through. Amen.
I am so happy that I enrolled in that course. With the knowledge of project management and with the certificate, you can work anywhere in the world, and I paid for this course when I was a corper, so it was cheap. For higher class level people who aren't corpers paid a huge amount to get the certificate. It has a fixed rate for Corps members and the working-class people. But I used the office of a Corps member and got it 😊.
The class was interesting and it expanded my mind to think more widely. Our teacher used to shake our brains by giving us questions to brainstorm as a group and bring out a reasonable answer. This class didn't just expose me to knowledge but to relationships with my colleagues, some of whom were so intelligent at the core. I admired them and got to know them better.
Staying back in Kaduna State after my service is the sweetest thing I've ever enjoyed and the best decision I've made. Remember, I started earlier with the richest goal of mine, which is my relationship with God. And I tell you that God is behind every one of my steps, decisions, choices, and thoughts. I didn't crystallize my goals on paper, but God led every step of the way, and I did exactly that.
In all, I had achieved the ability to walk in obedience, leading of ye Holy Spirit, and love God the more.
