My response to this contest is that God knows what is best for every parent. He created each of us for a purpose. He also created the womb of a woman as the place where life begins, allowing a baby to grow and develop according to His perfect design.

It would not be okay for parents to choose or design the kind of baby they want while the child is still in the womb. It would not be wise because God knows better than we do. Although technology has advanced significantly, I do not believe it should be used to design children according to human preferences. Every child comes from God, and He is the perfect Designer of every life that comes into the world through a mother's womb.
Technology has brought many positive changes, including helping couples who are unable to have children naturally. While these medical advancements have benefited many families, they also come with risks in some cases. I am still watching to see how far technology will go in the future. If science reaches the point where parents can choose a child's eye color, nose shape, height, intelligence, or other traits, I believe it would be highly unethical, unscriptural, and unhealthy.
In my opinion, we should not attempt to modify the genes of babies simply to satisfy human preferences. Do we want to take over the role that belongs to God? Let God do His work by determining how each child is created. Whether a child is born healthy, has a disability, is tall or short, every child has value because they are created by God.
Allow God to form the child in the womb, and when the time comes, welcome that child with love. Whether the child is tall or short, fair or dark, it is not our place to determine those things. Our responsibility is to pray for God's grace and wisdom to raise our children in a godly way and to accept them just as they are.
If society embraces designer babies, it could increase discrimination and promote the idea that a child's appearance or abilities are more important than their character.

Science should be used to improve and preserve life, not to redefine what it means to be human. Being human is divine in origin and beyond our full understanding. Every individual is unique because of God's purpose and design. We are created in His image and according to His will.
It is not the place of technology to decide how human beings should be designed.
