Thank you Amber ! I usually go for a same spot , it works 9 out of 10 .. just a condenser ( in this case I think it was the Baumann 87 ) pointing roughly to the 12 fret of the guitar , i'm not a fan of pointing the mic to the body of the guitar , usually it gets muddy and ''boxy'' . I prefer to capture the detail of the guitar strings :)
