Last Sunday and Last Day of May 2020 || My Actifit Report Card: May 31 2020
Remarkably, today is the last Sunday and the last day for the month of May 2020. After the morning devotion, I prepared for the home church which lasted only for an hour.
Due to the panic information I obtain about the three day complete lockdown in our state, I had to embark on an emergency journey on land border inspection.
I was really impressed with the conformity to the partial lockdown rules on transportation and social distancing. The trycycle mostly known here is Keke nepep carried only two passengers and at a moderate fare charge.
The journey was a four hours drive from Uyo which was enhanced via public transport.
Getting to the park where we boarded a taxi to the next Local Government Area, the taxi fare was doubled with an extra passenger at the rear seat against two proposed by the state.
In the taxi terminal, it appears that most drivers and loaders and even some passengers do not fully the import of using the respiratory mask in public places. Most of them uses the mask only when the enforcement officers are close by, and only to pull it down when they pass the check points particularly the drivers.
After four hours on the road, we arrived our destination and proceeded for the inspection. As I began taking Iconium pictures, my phone battery ran down and the phone went off.
After going round the land to ascertain it's borders, we returned back home with another four hour of driving.
Getting home, I had no access to electricity until few minutes ago whereby I had to charge and make this post.
I hope you enjoyed your Sunday and above all the month of May. Wishing a better month of April in advance. Happy new month for those who are +2 GMT.
Thank you for stopping by my wall.
