In the last two weeks we developed two new features. Item dropping at a specific URL and Item delegating. (The changes will go live in the next days, we would like to test a little more)

STEEMPUNKNET

New Features

What feature(s) did you add?

  • Item dropping
Item dropping should allow the player to drop items at certain url addresses. This makes it possible to drop an item and find it on the same page at a later time.
  • Item delegating
Item Delegation should allow the player to delegate components, i.e. building materials to other players. The functionality can be described as follows:
    • Player A delegates 300 wood to player B. Player B has 300 woods more available for his building projects. These delegated items are also not part of Player B's inventory limit.

These changes allow not only to finally introduce a small trading market through the players, these changes also promote the social play together. Some upgrades cannot be made on their own, this will now be possible through these changes in group work.

How did you implement it/them?

  • The item dropping and delegating have strongly overlapped (also module overlapping). The main part was implemented in the Battle Repository.

  • The complete commit history log for the battle repository can be found [here]

  • The complete commit history log for the locale repository can be found [here]

  • The complete commit history log for the profile template can be found [here]
