We are all aware that Malta is Blockchain! The headlines that read “Malta Wants to Become The ‘Blockchain Island’, With World’s Largest Cryptocurrency Exchange” have been circulating for a long time.
As we are a Malta-based blockchain/FinTech company, of course, we were going to be at Malta Blockchain Summit, the premier event on the island.
The first day of the summit was a landmark day for both the Crypto world and Malta as the three DLT laws officially go into effect. This provides a regulatory framework within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
So it was the perfect place to show off our new UI and let the who’s who of the community give us feedback.
What also made it an exciting week in Blockchain is that bitcoin turned 10, LinkedIn feeds would have reminded you about that a few thousand times. We feel remarkably close to the Bitcoin/digital currency movement and as the final puzzle piece – last mile in crypto payments – we are the enabler to many more coins being spent in everyday situations.
This was a big event with lots of Blockchain celebrities in attendance. We had one of our most successful events so far on the Paymagnet Roadshow.
Here are a few of the people and projects that stood out for us.
