I talk a bit about how you can increase your target audience here on DTube and why it is not a bad idea to do so. DTube is a lot less "clicky" than other social media platforms so it is a great place to talk about various topics that are of interest to you.
Don't get caught up focusing on just one niche.
I have cyclist, runners and people who like books following me here and I will be doing videos on other topics in the future.
For me that is great because those are all things that interest me and which I love to talk about.
If you want to focus on only one type of content then that's 100% cool. For me it is just a lot more fun when I can talk about whatever I want on here.
