A couple of weeks ago, I reached a quiet but decisive moment. Enough was enough. I needed stability, momentum, and a way forward that did not require burning myself out or abandoning who I am.
So I opened Duunitori, the Finnish job platform, and started looking. One position stood out immediately. I applied. I was interviewed. And today, I heard the words that change everything.
I got the job.

What makes this moment extraordinary is not just employment, but alignment. This was the only place I truly wanted, and as I spoke with the founders, it became obvious why. This is my happy place. The role allows me to work from home, continue my self-employment through my Spanish autónomo, and earn what essentially amounts to the salary of two people while being expected to work six active hours a day. That kind of setup does not really exist, especially not in Spain. And yet, somehow, it found me.
Beyond the relief and joy, this job unlocks something even bigger. It unlocks the future I have been quietly building on my own. Over the past month, I have immersed myself in reselling, and January taught me something crucial. People do not shop during the day. The real action happens in the evening, from around six p.m. onward. With this new work structure, I can take photos during coffee breaks, upload listings in the evening, and ship items the next day after work. Seamless, sustainable, and real.
For the first time, my reselling is no longer just survival-mode income. It is becoming an actual side business, one supported by a good salary and a calm nervous system. That matters, because my dream has always been to be an entrepreneur. The problem was never vision or effort. It was capital. I have always been on my own. No family safety net, no financial help. Building something alone is brutally hard.
This job changes that equation.
What I have discovered while reselling is almost unreal.
The opportunities are everywhere if you have the cash to act. A 5€ Gerry Weber jacket flipped for 35€. A limited-edition Furla handbag for 40€, worth 140€. The money is there. The margins are there. What I am missing currently is cash and now that gap is closing finally.

Reselling will also serve another purpose. It creates business expenses, profits that can be reinvested, and a foundation for something sustainable. I do not need to do too much daily. I just need little bit time, consistency and money. I finally I will have all three.
So here is to the new version of me. A version that is done with being poor. Done with waiting. Done with imagining that a man might appear and build a future alongside me. I am not waiting anymore. I am building it myself, with my own energy, at my own pace.
This is my plan for the rest of the year.
And for the first time in a long time, the future feels not only possible, but solid.
