My dilemma is different. I believe that there's more opportunity out there, away from home but I couldn't leave my parents who are both senior citizens. Pa is 78yr old and Ma's turning 69 this month. I feel that there's so little time before they're gone for good. And I have to make the most while they're still here. Teary-eyed while writing this because I couldn't imagine a life without them. 🥺

Sometimes, I overthink if this decision to not move out of Cebu will be my life's greatest regret in the future. And it's a different kind of sacrifice, when you have dreams and you know you can be bigger but you decide to be where you are. But every time I go home and see how my presence fills Ma with joy as if she just won a million. It's priceless.

My goal is to be happy and at peace regardless of what the world says. I can proudly say I'm right where I should be. Let's continue spreading this vibe that it's okay to be who we want to be even if the world around us tells us otherwise. ❤️
