I'm absolutely certain that each of us had done foolish things in the past in the name of love. I could give you a long list in less than 5 minutes, but I'd rather not go into the details. Else you and I will be both laughing either in disgust at how young love could possibly muddle our minds or regret doing what had been done in the past. 🥺

Let's just say this young and wild love brought me to the neighboring Province of Bohol in the hope that I would finally find the love I've been looking for for years. I could not put into words how much I love Bohol. I remember my mother told me she brought me there when I was like 3 or 4 years old. Of course, I couldn't remember that. My first memory of Bohol was in 2016 when we had our Sales Strategic Planning in Panglao. I was the organizer of the event and we had an entire day that was spent touring all the tourists destinations from Tagbilaran City and as far as Carmen to see the world-famous Chocolate Hills. We even stopped by CHAP and my bosses were so cool trying all the activities in CHAP; I'm not sure if it's still around. It's been 6 years!

There's a lot to do and visit in Bohol. The people are humble, kind, and hospitable (I know because of work; I've done a couple of fieldwork in Tagbilaran and Panglao for some business expansion). But on this particular visit, I came with a guy I was dating for a few months and I remember wanting to visit Anda. Without asking why he accompanied me.

The beach in Anda was great but the entire time we were there, it was low tide and it feels like we had to walk kilometers just to reach the ocean from the shore. So we went to other attractions, one that's on my list was this cave pool. If I am not mistaken, there are a few cave pools created when there was an intense Earthquake in Bohol before. But we visited only one, the Cabagnow Cave Pool.

The guy I dated was so boring he stayed in the nipa hut and told me he had work to do! He's a freelancer and I don't want to be the reason he'd be scolded at work, so I just had fun all alone. Glad there were other tourists who cheered me when I jumped from the top to the clear waters. I jumped thrice! Once you conquered your first, you'd be craving for more!
