I would have loved to seen a #sports tag on this to get it trending on SportsTalkSocial.com. I think this is a huge discussion and could be a major victory for the right businesses. With all the money being spent into these sports leagues via crypto it will become very interesting when one of them signs some form of exclusive deal with a crypto like Theta that could potentially handle streaming their content or doing it directly to fans without any middleman using their own infrastructure like MLB.tv with payments handled by lightning. I agree that the older userbase is thinning and they need to cater to a younger audience that would prefer an a la carte stream for their team.
