Personally I've dealt with them when they added my mom to their blacklist, which at the time gave her a badge on most front ends akin to a scammer, all because she shares daily bible verses.

The countless examples I was referring to is just from watching my feed. There's a new victim of their over moderation every week when I sign in to check my feed. I am thankful we've moved away from their blacklists being the be all, end all but I look forward to the day when they step away from the chain forever.

I hope you don't let it discourage you. I completely understand the feeling to want to step back as you feel like your efforts are, worse than not being noticed, but actively discouraged. What I've found is that they are a small minority and the majority of users will appreciate the engagement. As you proceed across the web of users find the ones that do and forget the rest. :)
