Welcome to the tribe @cryptosimplify! I really like a lot of your ideas here and wanted to take a moment to share where I think we are and how things might improve in those realms. I'll also share with you my personal opinions though they are just that of another guy in tribe.

I completely agree that the sporting world is huge and we aren't even cutting a sliver much less taking a share of anyone's attention pie yet. I think we have lots of room to grow as a community. One thing I'd like to get accomplished is more user guides for interacting with the site. I think documentation for new users is something we are in desperate need of. I don't imagine there's been huge levels of cross overs for sports fans into blockchain users so we need more materials to be that guide.

I've been pretty inclusionary for what I'm okay with for content and I tend to not take a editorial stance much. That being said I'm fully supportive of others having their own views on what should receive rewards and I'm in full support of users using their stake's downvoting function when they feel any disagreement with post rewards.

At a more institutional level, we at one time had a system of referees who were more of the editorial function of the tribe. We lost those due to code depreciation associated with the Steem fork but that would be something I'd like to see brought back personally. I think we need a bit of revision from the last time it ran but still think we need some editorial function that can take action against posts when there's a consensus of stakeholder elected editors. I believe that editorially there's a tragedy of the commons where posts slide through when there's no one responsible for being the one to directly stop it. I think that's where rewarding a core group of editors for going after that behavior is a valid function.

I did make a partnership with Actifit early in the course of SPORTS. Part of that was making it where Actifit posts would automatically be a part of the SPORTS community. This was geared to not only encourage users to take part in Actifit but also allowed us to have a much wider token distribution that put SPORTS in many more people's hands. I think that overall it's been a net positive for our tribe.

One change that I've debated that would kind of address this is having a distribution schedule similar to STEMgeeks. They burn half the rewards for any post that doesn't come from their tribe's dapp. That would certainly help drive usage of SportsTalkSocial.com which in turn would help with advertising when that gets deployed. It'd also help the token by reducing what makes it to the market if users don't want to use the app directly. That's a bit further down the path for our needs though. I'll be more interested in having this discussion when we have a proper advertising system.

I don't disagree on the tribe interface at all. We have a couple special features for our version but it's nothing to where I would want the site to look like if funding wasn't an issue. Unfortunately at the time were just limited in budget and development skills in house to get a lot of those things done. That being said everything for it is already open source and I'm more than happy to review and test any code changes that the community would want to put forward.

I don't think a curator account is a bad thing though I'd prefer it to be a group effort where a consensus is needed. At one point part of the function of the referees I mentioned before was an ability to do just that. That was earlier in the life of SPORTS so now I would want to see where stakeholders feel about that first. I don't think bringing in a big account to compete with stakeholder's vote is right unless that's something the community is in solidarity to.

The Discord channel doesn't have a lot of functions. It was a hub for the referees and other bot tools before but now a lot of that has been depreciated. It will have a new set of functionality soon if all goes well. I'm not a huge fan of having these third party channels but until something like BeeChat gets dramatically better then I think we'll be stuck with Discord for a while longer.

I don't have any issue with changes to the logo either. I was going for the idea of connecting the "blocks" like an S for it but it certainly doesn't have to even be the focus of the design. This would be something I would again leave up to a movement by the community.

This has been something I've been striving for since day one. Originally we were able to utilize voting bots as a means of removing tokens from circulation. We then offered users SPORTS for their SP delegations which gave us more voting power. Unfortunately there was a cultural shift to make voting bots looked down upon with a pretty heavy hand so we had to do away with that.

We then kind of fell into using advertising but our advertising partner has not paid out in over a year so we've not seen any flow from that to see how sustainable that can be for us. I hope to have new advertising partners in the future that will allow that to pull some tokens off the market.

I also attempted to help a developer build a sports prediction site earlier with the goal of that leading to a way for users to burn SPORST to get entries but that was a poor decision and never progressed well. The layout of using my own personal stake to delegate to the developer to vote with ended in a constant dispute of their editorial function as well as not providing them the means to complete the project. I still think this could be a huge win for us and hope that we'll see progress on it in the future.

I definitely didn't take anything you said as complaining or negative. I share a lot of your ideas and am happy we have more people willing to brainstorm to seek the improvements needed. I just wanted to touch on a lot of your points to give a bit of background on things we've had or where I see things personally.
