Hey lolahuss - I'm not sure if you meant that the founders have sold off their tokens to have a profit so I wanted to address it in case anyone took that as meaning we've sold our stake and left the community. I'm the only founder of #sportstalk and I've not made any profits from SPORTS other than a few @sportsvoter promotion purchases that came from my own rewards from the site. Everything else I've made has been staked to increase my stake within the community.
Additionally work has certainly not stopped on improving the platform. We've rolled out @sportsvoter and
@sportspromo to create one of the largest sinks among all tribes. We've also been claiming a number of DAC tokens from the kind delegation our community has provided in hopes of onboarding many new #sportstalk users in the future. The great
@voltaire has rolled out our referee system that enables one of the most unique moderation systems among all tribes by requiring a group consensus on articles that are moderated so that no one user has all the power of the tribe. We continue to work to add support to roll this into a larger system where referees will become elected. You can always check the referee reports by following
@sportsinfo to track their progress on spam fighting.
While I personally love using #sportstalk and am staking all of my SPORTS this is not a recommendation to make purchases of our token. SPORTS is not an investment. It holds no issued value and merely serves as a utility token to power our community consensus on trending content. Never invest more than what you are willing to lose.
