CONJUGAL TOGETHERNESS TILL DEATH

My beautiful people, amazing things happen in life. In my outing today, I witnessed the funeral of two late sages who were ardent lovers while on earth and at death also followed each other. Late Venerable Gabriel Oladele Adesina and Late Mrs Felicia Oreoluwa Adesina were sincere lovers while on earth. They were committed to the cause of humanity. They served life in both secular and spiritual spheres and had great records and testimonies of great achievements

Their leading secular achievements

• A Primary School teacher
• A Secondary School teacher
• A vice principal of Secondary school
• Principal of many Secondary School and Teacher Training Colleges.
  Baba taught for 42 good years and retired on a Special Grade Level 17 which is equivalent to Government Civil Service Permanent Secretary's status.

Spiritual involvements

• Lay reader in various Anglican churches
• Member of Parochial or Parish Church Committee
• Deacon, Priest and Archdeacon and Vicar
• Synod Clerical Secretary, Anglican Diocese, Ilesha
• President of Iloro Young Men Society of the Cathedral
• President Christian Association of Nigeria, Ilesha branch.

Recreational activities

Late Venerable G.O Adesina was an ardent sportsman. He specialised specifically in running, Pole vault and Lawn Tennis.

Their demise

Late Venerable Oladele Adesina died on 7th June, 2023 at the ripe age of 100 years and was put in the mortuary. While planning for the burial was going on, his wife Late Mrs Felicia Oreoluwa Adesina also answered the call of her maker and she joined her husband on 10th September, 2023 at the age of 93 years and they were both buried on Saturday 21st, October, 2023 at the Diocese of Ilesa Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Cathedral Church of Saint John, Iloro, Ilesa.
