Hello everyone! I'm back at drawing again, I've been trying to draw at least once a week, let's see if I can make it.
Today I drew 1992's version of Catwoman, the one from Batman Returns played by Michelle Pfeiffer, I know there's been different versions of the character but this is one of my favorites... although I haven't seen the new Batman movie yet so I don't know anything about the new Catwoman.
The pencils I used here were 5H, 2H, 4B, 6B and 8B, being 5H the one I made the first outline in the beginning.
Mostly I used the B pencils more due to the drawing being mostly dark, the few times I used the H ones other than outlines were the eyes.
The thing that made me struggle with this drawing were the stitches, and generally speaking I was having trouble defining the hands because of all being dark and lights with shadows.
What I liked the most about it were the eyes... as for the rest of the face, the nose and mouth turned out leaning to one side, and in a dumb way I noticed that at the end 馃槙 I guess I was more focused on the suit and its stitches.
Generally speaking, I liked this drawing, ignoring the misplaced nose and mouth it's one of my favorites from the sketches I've done, I can see some difference from the first ones I started drawing.
隆Hola a todos! volv铆 con un dibujo otra vez, he estado tratando de dibujar al menos una vez por semana, veamos si puedo hacerlo.
Hoy dibuj茅 la versi贸n de 1992 de Gat煤bela, la de Batman Regresa interpretada por Michelle Pfeiffer, s茅 que existen diferentes versiones del personaje pero esta es una de mis favoritas... aunque no he visto la nueva pel铆cula de Batman a煤n as铆 que no se nada sobre la nueva Gat煤bela.
Los l谩pices que utilic茅 fueron: 5H, 2H, 4B, 6B Y 8B, siendo el 5H con el que hice la silueta inicial para comenzar.
Mas que nada us茅 los l谩pices B debido a que el dibujo es mayormente oscuro, las pocas veces que us茅 los H aparte de contornos fue para los ojos.
Lo que me hizo batallar con el dibujo fueron las costuras, y de manera general estaba teniendo problemas al definir las manos por ser todo oscuro y luces con sombras.
Lo que me gust贸 m谩s fueron los ojos... en cuanto al resto de la cara, la nariz y boca se me fueron de lado, y torpemente me d铆 cuenta hasta el final 馃槙 supongo que estaba m谩s enfocada en el traje y sus costuras.
Generalmente hablando, me gust贸 este dibujo, ignorando la nariz y boca mal colocada es uno de mis bocetos preferidos de los que he hecho, puedo notar algunas diferencias de los primeros que comenc茅 a dibujar.
Definitely I need to practice more, but each time I feel more capable of doing sketches that a while ago I considered hard for me to draw.
Now here's the time lapse video, it took me 1 hour and 40 minutes approximately to finish it.
Definitivamente necesito m谩s pr谩ctica, pero cada vez me siento m谩s capaz de hacer bocetos que hace un tiempo consideraba dif铆ciles para mi de dibujar.
Ahora aqu铆 les traigo el video acelerado, me tom贸 aproximadamente 1 hora 40 minutos en completarlo.
