Well eventually a blind person would adapt but it would be a very veeery hard process, mainly I think the first obstacle to overcome is the depression that would come after your life suddenly changes in a drastic way... Btw, have you seen the movie In Darkness? With Natalie Dormer xD is interesting how she portraits a blind person and how she does everyday tasks.
