My estimate is that it is going to take us another four or five Seasons before we get to League 1. Reaching League 1 is certainly achievable but we don't want to be there just for one season and get relegated. We want to stay there and compete. To this end, we are doing some preparation and it should stand us in good stead when we get there.
Our current OS is 51 but there are still three players with scores under 50. From now on when we sign players, we have to make sure their OS is at least 50. Having a consistent OS across players also mean that they all take full advantage when in training and no one will get left behind.
Our stadium is currently at level 7 and has been so for a long time. It is fully utilised in every home game. It would take 2mil RBN to upgrade but we don't have enough cash just yet. Our plan is to get the upgrade started before we reach League 1 as it is going to take more than one whole season to complete.
This is going to be a big part going forward as better players will require higher salaries when renewing contracts. Having a decent academy would keep this cost down. All well-run football clubs have good academy setups so we won't be the exception.
As we increase the capacity of our stadium, it will create a better (more intimidating馃榿) atmosphere for our home games. We would definitely want to take advantage of this by upgrading our Training Centre to match.
Generally, we are happy with our development so far. Last night we managed to hold the leading team who has an OS of 71 to a 0-0 draw away. Our goalkeeper saved six goals but unfortunately, our attackers were not able to penetrate their strong defence. Despite the result, we feel that we are going in the right direction:)
