Se trata de los palafitos de Montt, municipalidad de Castro, en la isla de Chiloé, Chile.
La primera foto es la que participa en el concurso.
Hi everyone! This is my entry for the contest.
These are the palafitos of Montt, municipality of Castro, on the island of Chiloé, Chile.
The first photo is the one that participates in the contest.
Estuve de viaje por allí y quedé sorprendida por el paisaje.
Los palafitos son viviendas donde los pilares son construidos sobre cuerpos de aguas tranquilas.
Llegué al lugar alrededor del mediodía y pude tomar varias fotos donde se aprecia el agua y el reflejo de las casas.
I was traveling there and was amazed by the landscape.
The palafitos are houses where the pillars are built on bodies of calm waters.
I arrived at the place around noon and was able to take several photos where you can see the water and the reflection of the houses.
Luego del almuerzo fui a recorrer la zona y regresé al lugar tres horas después. Quedé muy sorprendida al apreciar que el agua se había retirado y el paisaje había cambiado totalmente.
After lunch I went to tour the area and returned to the place three hours later. I was very surprised to appreciate that the water had receded and the landscape had totally changed.
