The dilemna of beginnings
Sighs behind birth pangs
Hesitant euphoria caged
Graceful inaugural lands
Our saving beauty made!
What joy of such moments!
What moments of such joy!
The blinking eye will not be first
Brevity has kidnapped our noise.
To think we will be fried
As the rising sun peaks;
Or that we'll be made bright
By her brilliant rain of beams.
To know we become leaders
Should today grow into tomorrow;
Or join the galaxy of stars
Should today refuse to let go.
Oh the dilemna of life's hatchery!
The battle line is dawn
The diabolical sword is drawn.
The war has just begun
But our enemies are not named
What fear of such days!
What days of such fear
