Another Sunday is here, another day to tell God thank you. Another day to dedicate to him, to show him how much we care. To fellowship with him and with our fellow man.
Some of us will be going to church today, some won't. But that doesn't matter. What does is the posture of our hearts this morning.
Do we in all sincerity appreciate God's wondrous love for us?
Do we love him for being there for us through the week?
For seeing us through the strife and stress the world brought our way this past week?
Do we appreciate the offer of life he has made into us through his son Jesus?
Do we understand the fact that:
That he will always be with us from now till eternity if we would only let him in?
That he loved us so much Jesus had to come and die in our stead?
If we do know all this, then our heart is aligned with God's and his with us. All we have to do is confess it,let the world know our stand, our relationship with him. Let his light shine through us that all may come to know him through his spirit in us.
That is most definitely what I have planned for today, to let his light shine through me.
