I made my assessment of the gig
And saw opportunities so big
So I took the leap of faith
And everything worked out as if by fate.
I began the journey
Made and lost some money
A couple of times I got so high
That now I think of it I cry.
Friends were skeptical of my new fancy
Told me it was just a fallacy
I stuck to what they called fantasy
And thank God for my accuracy.
Eventually I was proved right
*And I was filled with delight
Oh, what a sight!
Their expressions when they saw the light.
I came, I thought I'd conquer
But unfortunately began to blunder
And then began to wonder
How come dreams had torn asunder.
And then began the whisperings
Advice they thought I was needing
Boy, cash out your earnings
And let us go balling.
They weren't interested any more
But I know with steemit I can soar
With a community rich in it's diversity
For it I've developed some affinity.
