The book seems to paint a very rosy picture of Paleolithic tribes. Sure, they got along well within the tribe, but there was not a lot of cooperation between them, and when two tribes disputed territory, it usually ended with the total destruction of one of them. Paleolithic tribes also had technology, but it was generally limited to the development of weapons and clothing.
