During the second day of the recent heavy snowstorm I decided to try my hand at some snow macros. I was so excited to see the individual flakes in some of my more successful shots!
I'm not a winter person at all so this was the first time I even thought to go out and try lol. Now I look forward to getting out there and taking some more! I do love the world of macro photography! :)
I took these while it was still snowing so it was a bit challenging for good lighting and keeping snow off my lens but I somewhat managed to prevail!
This photo and the one above it are of snow on different areas of my car.
This is some snow encrusted fungi of some sort on the bark of a birch tree.
I will leave you with snow meets maple leaf.
I like the contrast of the deep brown of the leaf with the white to clear snow.
I hope you enjoyed seeing snow from the macro perspective.
