I don't remember if I had shared this, but if not, then enjoy the views.
The wind had a party with the clouds, and nature streamed the show. Not really, as we were just so happy to see the astounding views, and the mountains wrapped with boiling clouds. At least it looked like a boil, but in fact it was the wind that blew the clouds onto the mountains. What I can say is that the weather patterns have all changed, and it caught so many people unprepared. Winter arrived early, as we only had a short autumn, and I believe that it happened all over the world, as for instance Europe was caught in an early heat wave.
Not often that we see this but rather have a strong wind in the sky than a low one on land, as we have lost hundreds of trees during the recent storms. Something like 300 trees were uprooted at a local golf course, and the call is out to plant new trees. As beautiful as nature is, it can also turn very ugly with regards to strong winds and gale force gusts. Add 100-200mm of rainfall to it, then one has some very serious issues. So, with all of this in mind, one can only stand in awe and wonder at something like I am showing you here.
I tried to get that flock of birds below, but my camera was on the wrong setting.
But I bet that the Raven saw my mistake and it was laughing at me.
A bit later I was happy to get some sun rays in the two shots below.
This was a look at west, and you can see how a palm tree was trying to remain standing in the wind.
Just as suddenly as the views appeared they all disappeared in a short period of time, as the wind cleared the clouds out. But let me tell you that it was magical to stand and watch the show. I was hoping to get a great sunset later on, but no luck as later on things started to become misty. Most of our mist rolls in from the ocean and at times things can get very dense. I will show you in another post how the mist came in, and also how I got the "Blue" full moon. One just has to have patience to get these things on camera, and maybe, just maybe I could get used to these new weather patterns. The word is out that things will only start to get worse.
Such is life.
