At first, I got this Guinea Fowl lady wearing the latest fashions.
Lately women wear tight fitting pants, and you can see that Ginny, the Guinea fowl lady also had some tights on, but she covered her bum with a long dress. Sadly, I only got this one shot of her.
Then you will see a hadeda sitting on top of another hadeda, at least it looked like it, and finally you will see a mousebird whose long tail was taken by a cat. Now if this doesn't interest you, then nothing will :)
Right, let's look at the Hadeda Ibises.
There were three of them and something about the two on the right didn't look right, as it seemed that the one stood on top of the other one.
Can you see it? It was the first time for me to see a hadeda standing on the top of another hadeda.
But not so, as the hadeda below sat behind the top one further back on the tree stump.
Now you will see two hadedas on another tree, and the one at the back left of the picture showed me how to shower by only standing on one leg.
And also, while standing on one leg in the shower, how to pop my head below my arm pit.
And then of course my wife will have to call an ambulance to come and pick me up Lol.
Okay, and here below you will see the mousebird that a cat got its tail.
Just look at that! These birds have very long tails, and shame the cat left just a little piece of tail behind.
Either a cat, or some other predator must have gotten his tail.
But not so, as a parent with its long tail sat above and the top two pictures only show that the mousebird is still a juvenile. So, his tail will grow just as long as the parents'.
Confusing, isn't it? As at first glance it tells a totally different story, but a closer look will show one the real stories. Just so, it is also with us as humans, as at first appearance we have the habit of instantly forming an idea about a person, but then quite often our first idea turns out to be totally incorrect and that normally happens once one gets to know the person. The business world is quite aware of that, and that is why they have dressing lessons for job seekers that go for interviews.
They say that first appearances should be neat and tidy, and not for the ladies to show too much cleavage, and all such types of things. But this is all schooled by psychology and I am allergic to the system. I dress like I want and I have never been turned down during a job application. Oh, and just to mention that I have had quite a few jobs in my life, as when I get bored then I know it is time to leave.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
