Ah, that first shot is brilliant, even under that unsavory incident. We get the road pigs almost daily here and had a few near misses. I can understand it in a town with big bakkie (truck) drivers trying to creep up into our car's cubby hole :)
But one would never expect that to happen in a national park. Look at it this way, at least you got some nice shots of the hawk, and you were wise not to report that driver. A pity that the elephant didn't sit down on his car. Lol
