Hi Eric, lovely shoes, and do you know that the original name of the shoes is "Vellies" meaning "Vel" (meaning skin). It was later assimilated to "Veldskoen" meaning "Fieldshoe". It was based on the traditional Khoisan people. Kudu is a Southern and East African buck.
