Can you imagine sitting for half of a year in the dark?
I will share some lovely sights in our area with you and of course the mountains always remain prominent.
Now when I say that we are dodging power cut times in order to do our work and also in order for my daily share on Hive, then I am not joking.
This article in the source below will show you that we have lost half of the 2022 year to load shedding. As I type this now, we received a warning on the phone app to state that the intensity of what they call, Loadshedding (power cuts), had to be increased, due to breakdowns at the old power stations.

So it makes life very difficult and at times I post on Hive in the midnight hours after the power cuts.
But come and let me show you some beauty below.
One of the mountain raptor birds came over in search of a meal. I think that it is a Kite due to the fork in the tail end.

Pure and clear mountain river water!
Yay! They have planted two new beds of Sunflowers on the farm and the Egret birds scattered at my approach.

Still young sunflower heads slowly being populated with seeds as you can see in the inner ring. Eventually it will be filled and then the seeds turn black, ready for harvesting.
Finally, a lovely distant shot of the new sunflower beds with our beloved mountain range in the background.
Yes, all things are beautiful here in the summer and due to the African heat, we have one of the largest biospheres in the world. We were told today about the snake walk, a wooden suspended walk that stretches over the tops of the trees in the Kirstenbosch Botanical garden. So I had a look on my PC and you can see it Here
We plan to visit this garden in a cooler month out of season in order to avoid the crowds. I simply just have to do that sky walk with my camera.
