Our early morning and afternoon scenes for you to enjoy.
The misty mountain photos were taken yesterday and it leaves an intriguing sense in one by looking at them. One of amazement and mystery in the mist. Quite often when I see these sights, I find myself longing for something that I do not know. A sort of expectancy builds inside and the senses are sharpened for sudden miracles to appear.
My luck it will be a lion jumping out from behind a bush, eager to donate my bones to a worthy cause :)

An Egyptian goose crossed over the face of the mountains.
Some other birds were also swirling around, but too far for me to identify them.
It was the mist below the clouds that drew my attention.
A distant misty look at the giant steps as they call the edge of the mountain peak.
Now if you think that the photo below is nice, then have a look at the magic that the sun creates in the next picture.
The late afternoon sun lit up the trees here, creating a lovely contrast with the peaks in the background.
And here are our afternoon photos today. I took all above yesterday. A total contrast between the two days but the clouds have simply persisted with their covering of the mountain.
Another look a bit further out and it looks like icing on a cake.
Supreme beauty of the elements in their natural status. One can only stare at the scenes and realize how much worth our lives should be to us. Each of us was also created as special individual beings, supposed to be of light but the world's influences have darkened many souls. So it is when I look at the pictures in this post.
There is inherent beauty inside all of us and this world will not be in so much trouble if we allowed that same beauty to rule our lives. Sadly, money and power are the false keys of life that so many chase after. And most often the result is a life of misery, as nothing of this world can give us the peace that we seek.
