Mother nature's own window and the view was fantastic.
So we went back to this dam and I took photos from the other side.
There is a Willow tree and the photo above was taken from under the tree.
An escape from the power blackouts and other troubles here as we wander off into the beauty of nature. Yes, we are faced with many severe issues here but I find that nature stabilizes the mind so that one can think clearly about the issues.
As I have said before, Mother nature is a wonderful healer.
Come and walk with me.
There is the Willow tree that I was standing under.
Some small bucks were running around in the long grass :)
Now tell me what this looks like to you. I drew with a yellow line what I thought it was.
Look how beautiful this African Darter (Snake bird) is (Anhinga rufa).
A cloud moved over the sun in the picture below.
Finally as we left I wanted to show the cloud's reflection on the dam.
Oh, I forget. This little Half-collared Kingfisher (Alcedo semitorquata) was also hanging around and I will do a separate post on him and some other birds.
The Covid lockdowns under lack of electricity are activators for short tempers. The people are all insecure, anxious, and suspicious nowadays as a result of these occurrences, and it is difficult to do our work. The enforced wearing of masks is also bringing about a sense of fear as one can never know who is genuine or who is a criminal. We have severe issues of car hijackings, house robberies, and violence.
Now you can see why we flee into nature for solace and therapy.
Such is life. I hope that you enjoyed the photos.
And That's All Friends.
